Clean room, friendly staff, with a well-stocked bar and comfortable seating area for relaxation after a day of exploring the area.

the staff are so welcoming & do anything to help, we where there for my son's wedding reception & couldn't have asked for anyone better than angela to look after us she is an absolute star, also set in lovely grounds with amazing views...

Clean place & very welcoming and welcoming staff on shift. Free parking on-site provided. A stylish hotel, my first choice in Symington.

great stay but missed some amenities

The staff were genuinely lovely. The room was spacious and the comfortable chairs were perfect for my needs.

I was disappointed that the hotel did not have a fitness center.

Breakfast and the mroning service was excellent, set you up for a lovely day.

Dinner was ok, the waiter did not pay attention to our order and we kept having to ask for different things, it was clear the table had just been used and I had to remove food from the chair and the table was not set properly. There was many other tables available. Dinner service was poor on a whole, but I would not let this be an issue, think they may have just been having a bad day.

food excellent. Staff very helpful and pleasant relaxed friendly atmosphere drinks a bit expensive will be nice when redecorating is finished. Iron and board in room was good. There for a wedding Spacious sitting areas and...  

Lovely staff made our stay great

We stayed for 1 night and the welcome was super friendly right from the start. The staff were awesome, helping us out with a few requests. The bar area was really nice, perfect for a drink after the wedding. The bed was two singles pushed together, which wasn't cozy at all.

Nice rural location, only 5mins from Biggar. Good breakfast, very attentive and friendly staff.

Slightly outdated bathroom decor / facilities, compared with say a travelodge or similar. Mould on tiled wall next to shower!

Excellent value for that area. Very friendly staff. Service and food superb. Location suited our needs for our journey. Close enough to Edinburgh but rural surroundings made for a pleasant respite after our journey....

Welcoming service, we had really comfortable stay.

The restaurant had WELL PRESENTED meals. Recently refurbished room, huge complete with a bedroom, a shower and couch, greatly enjoyed it. Location: the hotel was not far from overlooking the garden, Biggar's local shopping centre and...  

Liked the grounds peaceful to sit in, and couches in the lounge, the calm feeling when you walk in the hotel
